Cal Warlick, creator of the J. R. Crickets art work, is a freelance artist who lives in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He was born in Columbus and spent some of his childhood in Alabama but graduated from College Park High School. He and his family have called Gwinnett home for 35 years.
